Who ya gonna call?

Ghost hunters! Or ghost detectives! Or a shaman will do.

Chance Falconer wants to follow family tradition and learn to fight ghosts and other supernatural threats to her city. Her father won’t let her; he says that girls aren’t strong enough. Actually he is just afraid, because Chance’s mother died fighting the supernatural. Chance ignores her father’s wishes and starts to investigate supernatural crime. Leave it to Chance!

Yusuke Urameshi is the toughest kid in school. He is a delinquent who spends his time at the counselors and fighting. When he dies while heroically saving a little boy, the Afterlife is not prepared to deal with him. After a few tests to prove his worth, Yusuke is made a spirit detective and sent to investigate demonic threats to the human world. YuYu Hakusho!

Yoh Asakura is a shaman–one of the gifted few who, thanks to training or natural talent, can channel spirits that most people can’t even see. With the help of his fiancée, Anna, Yoh is in training for the ultimate shaman sports event: the “Shaman Fight in Tokyo,” the once-every-500-years tournament to see who can shape humanity’s future and become the Shaman King. But unfortunately for Yoh, every shaman in the world is competing for the same prize…Shaman King!

  1. Are you going to post links to where these can be purchased, or simply encourage people to find them at the library?

  2. I suppose I wanted people to check them out of the library. These are all titles owned by the Duluth Public Library.
